primobol
Originally marketed in 1961 by Schering in Germany, this drug was actually conceived in 1958 or 1959. It is a mild steroid with few side effects, if any, so it is prescribed to mostly women and children where oral steroid treatments are a necessity. Since it's still manufactured today, it's a good sign that it's still enjoying popularity clinically. Good news for bodybuilding fans of the drug.
Bodybuilding use: Primobolan acetate tabs are highly coveted by both female bodybuilders and male bodybuilders. Primo tabs can make a physique crisp and carved in appearance in a way that no other drug can. It's the icing on the cake, so to speak. And while there are other drugs that can make you hard, Primobolan tabs do it by drying the body out nicely without robbing the muscles of fullness. It's as highly coveted a pre-contest drug as Anavar for this reason.
Recommened dosage: For men, the dose is between 100 and 200mg daily. That's gonna be a problem if you've only got 5mg tabs. In fact, that would last you about 5 days on the low end of the dosing scale, per 100 tabs! For women, doses run about 50-75mg daily. Some women push it to 100mg, but that's usually the kamikaze female bodybuilders who don't care what they look like and are likely doing other much harder drugs in a stack along with it.
Side effects: This is not a 17 -alpha alkylated steroid (it's 17 -beta alkylated) so there isn't the worry over liver toxicity like you get with most steroids. At the same time, you have the distinct advantage of taking a steroid that doesn't aromatize, so there is no need to add Nolvadex or Proviron to the mix. That's the problem with a lot of drugs that require an accompaniment of anti-estrogen compounds; they can cause a film of water to appear on an otherwise contest-ready physique because of the estrogenic element. You may notice some oily skin or a bit of breakout on the shoulders or upper arms and back with Primo, but no pus-filled boils like you'd find with heavy androgen use. Gynecomastia isn't even an issue here. It's a really mild, low risk steroid to use. It takes quite a lot for women to see anything truly hideous happen.
Masking... Take this drug up until about 7-10 days out and it should be out of your system come contest time. This is crucial for women because it may be all they can take up until a drug test.
Effects... A drug that delivers everything it promises and more, Primo tabs might be mild, but they pack a very specific punch. Remember, not every drug is supposed to be a "powerhouse" of mass and strength gains. Ever heard the expression, "It's the quiet ones that no one ever suspects"? That's the epitome of Primo tabs... no one ever suspects it will do quite the job it does. I give this drug a 10 out of 10.
Finally... Some say that Primo tabs are equal to Anavar in their ability to harden up the physique and make it appear athletic at its best, but I think Primo is better and I always have. The only problem is, there's never enough of it floating around! It's still being manufactured, but it's hard to get for most guys I know, for some odd reason. The cool thing about it, unlike most other steroids, is the fact that it is still very effective on a low calorie diet. And, in fact, it works best with the high protein, moderate fat, low starch diet that is so popular today. Eat steak and broccoli and you'll be hard as a rock on this drug, dare I say, even on its own!.

About Winstrol
Winstrol - Stanozolol is a very commonly used anabolic steroid for cutting cycles. While many people will attempt to use Dianabol or even Anadrol for cutting cycles, I´ve really never heard of anyone using Stanozolol for anything except a cutting cycle. It´s a bit of a one-trick-pony in this respect. Let me repeat that: Stanozolol is a cutting drug. Not many people will argue for its use in a bulking cycle. It´s certainly not a very effective compound for treating anemia (1) and thus, one could rightly assume that its role in bulking cycles is very limited. One novel use for Winstrol in any cycle (perhaps even bulking) would be to use it at a very limited dose, in order to lower SHBG. (2) One of the properties of Winstrol is it´s profound ability to lower SHBG much more than other steroids. A dose of .2mg/kg lowered SHBG significantly, which would in turn, raise the amount of free testosterone circulating in the body. As with 99% of steroids, however, it´s important to note that suppression of your natural hormonal levels will occur (though perhaps not to the extent that it will with many other steroids).(10) As with running virtually any compound, testosterone supplementation (i.e. running test in a cycle containing Winstrol) is warranted to avoid possible sexual dysfunction.
Winstrol & Stanozol Side Effects
Adding it to a heavy bulking cycle could be problematic, as Stanozolol is a 17aa compound, meaning that it´s been altered to endure the first pass through your liver without being destroyed. This makes it an orally active compound; so many people choose to take the pills which are available from both legitimate pharmaceutical companies as well as Underground Labs. Unfortunately, since it is 17aa, it is also liver toxic& in fact; Stanozolol has one of the worst hepatoxicity (mg for mg) of any steroid. This is the reason its addition to a bulking cycle could be problematic; generally a bulking cycle will be very heavy, dosage wise as well as toxicity-wise. It also has undesirable results on Cholesterol, and a mere 6mgs/day of Stanozolol can lower HDL by 33% and raise LDL by 29% (3). Cardiac Hypertrophy, even at lower doses could be a concern with Winstrol as well (4) Thus, many people limit their intake of Stanozolol to precontest or Summer-cutting types of cycles. It´s generally accepted that due to the toxicity issues of Stanozolol, its use should be limited to 6 weeks& as with anything though, many people have run it for up to 12 weeks with no problems.
As it is available in both an oral form as well as an injectable form, and both contain the same compound, you might find this next part odd, but the injectable route actually produces greater nitrogen retention. (5) Another counterintuitive fact about Winstrol is that although the anabolic rating of this product is very high, not too many people report much weight gain off of it. Also, it has a very weak Androgen Receptor binding ability (6), which is kind of odd for a drug with Winstrol’s effects. unusual for a “cutting” steroid. Protein synthesis is reasonably high with Winstrol (7), although weight gain is low, paradoxically.
In all, this is a very odd compound, from a chemical/biological point of view. My personal experience with it was that it can be used as a cheap substitute for Anavar, although I prefer the latter. Also, the injections hurt like hell.. |
